Left on Read is a work of interactive fiction. All characters, phone numbers, messages, and events in its stories are imaginary. Your choices steer each story toward one of several endings. Some story branches can be unlocked by watching an optional rewarded advertisement.

Your stories stay on your phone. Left on Read has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of its own. Your reading progress, found endings, and unlocked branches are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us.
Advertising. Left on Read shows ads served by Google AdMob. To provide and improve ads, Google may collect data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location inferred from IP, and ad interaction data. If you grant App Tracking Transparency permission, this data may be used to show you personalized ads and may be linked to you for tracking purposes; if you decline, ads are non-personalized. Notifications. The app can send local notifications (for example, a story character "texting you back"). These are scheduled entirely on your device. You can disable them anytime in Settings.
Children. Left on Read is not directed at children under 13.
Data deletion. Deleting the app deletes all locally stored progress. To exercise ad-data rights, use the links in Google's policy above.
